Hello, my name is Michelle Loughrin. I am a senior studying Broadcasting, Telecommunications, and Mass Media (BTMM). I am very interested in media, especially television. I enjoy making and editing films, or being part of a television production crew. I am picking up the remaining credits I need to graduate through this trip. I can’t imagine a better way to finish school! After our trip I would love to work behind the scenes on a television show and become a producer. To get me on that path I have interned at a couple places, and held a freelance production assistant job. I am excited to go to Ireland to learn about it’s past while living in it’s present culture. When this chance came to study in Ireland, I couldn’t pass up the opportunity. I’m looking forward to our many tours together (especially RTE), hanging out with the locals, and learning about my Irish ancestry. I am extending my stay a couple days after our semester, so let me know if anyone else is too.
