Hey everybody! I’m Liz Barto and I’m going to be a sophomore this fall and I'm an elementary education major. I’m very excited to go to Ireland because it is laid back and relaxed much like myself. My hometown is close to New York City so most people I know don’t stop to smell the roses; which makes Ireland very appealing to me. Besides being Irish, I wanted to participate in this program because I’m interested in the culture of different countries and I am more so interested in history. I’m hoping to acquire a minor in history but haven’t yet gotten around to finding out what that exactly that entails. Besides school work, I am very interested in music such as punk, ska and classic rock. I love going to concerts and small local shows, I’m really looking forward to the atmosphere of a pub with musicians that just walk in and jam. I can’t wait for our impending trip and look forward to getting to know everybody.
