Amanda: Intro

Hey, it’s Amanda. I’m now a senior majoring in journalism and political science. I’m originally from Middletown, Pa., which is outside of Harrisburg. I chose Dublin over London because I’m Irish and I’ve always wanted to go to Ireland. I know that was very original, but this will be my first trip out of the country, so I’m extremely excited for that as well. The part about my future plans is where it gets scary because that is only a year from now. I’ve even considered more schooling just so I don’t have to decide yet. As of now, I figure I’ll write for newspapers for awhile. I love sports, but I’m only really obsessed with baseball. Still, I'd love to write about it, but I don’t know whether that will happen or not. If it does, I’ll forget the other major and live a happy life. If not, I may want a change of pace, switch it up a little and move into politics. Not as a politician, but working for one in some way. Then again, that may all change by next year.
