Dustin: My Introduction

Hello! My name is Dustin and I will be the Faculty Director of the program this summer. I will also teach the course in Irish Media Arts. I am a filmmaker, photographer, and writer; I currently teach media production at Temple University. My passion for the Emerald Isle runs deep - much of my work seeks to explore Irish music, politics, and culture through short- and long-form narrative, documentary and avant-garde pieces. This will be my first experience leading students in Dublin, and I am very excited to share with the students my love of all things Irish.

I’ve attached a photograph of myself at the majestic Cliffs of Moher in western Ireland, and two short videos I recently shot in Dublin, spotlighting traditional Irish music and dance.
