Rachael: Introductory Post

My name is Rachael Ferver. I just finished my junior year at TU as an Advertising major with a Religion minor. I've been told the dichotomy works when looking for a job because of the supposed "balance" provided by a more business-y major paired with a liberal arts minor. (I am still in essay writing mode from the multiple papers I recently had due, so I appologize for the long and complicated sentences...) I am a wee bit Irish, perhaps an eighth. The reason I chose to go abroad at all this summer is because I have never before left the continent. I have been to Canada, though I'm not sure many people would count that as leaving the country. My reasons for picking Ireland stem from my interest in their culture, and more specifically their music. I'm also really excited about going to a country where people will be paler (like me)!
